Top 20 of the year

We are in the last month of the year. Last days and we start again with a new story, a new chapter.

Every year me and my friends in the last week of December get together to make a cd. In this cd we mix and record a live show with music, putting together the 20 best dance songs of the year.

It's something nice, funny and that we really enjoy, even if it takes time, to do. We are planning to do the same this year so I am going to ask all of you a little thing.

It will take you just few seconds and for us, that we make the cd, the opinion of the other people is of primary importance.

Italodance

The word dance contains a lot of meanings. A lot of kinds of dance surrounds that simple word.

My favorite kind of dance is Italodance.

Italodance is a kind of dance music born in 1998. After that year grew a lot reaching is peak in 2001, where was popular all over the world. After, something changed and now days unfortunately is very hard to find songs or sounds like that and very difficult to hear them inside clubs.

Characterized by a lot of melody, use of piano and usually lyrics about love, Italodance has been for some years the most commercial music in all radio stations and the Italian djs were the most famous.

But every, more or less, 10 years things, especially in music, change. The rhythms tend to change and new sounds are discovered.

This is what happened with this kind of music. Most of the producers decided to change, obviously because making songs that were not played anymore and were not popular was too risky for their careers.

However some producers decided instead to fallow their passion and continued to made Italodance songs.

Unfortunately it’s very hard to find them, but a good research is always helpful.

As I said the rhythm change. It’s true and in fact for some years, 2005 till 2007, there was a lot of confusion on the dance music scene.

Now things are taking a direction and the music is becoming, once again, melodic in some ways as the one in the past even if with different sounds. It seems like a little rapprochement to Italodance but with different sounds.

Who knows, maybe one day Italodance will come definatly come back.

Is this normal?

It doesn’t happen a lot of times that football players strikes. Honestly I think it never happened.

What’s going on in Italy is, in some way, unbelievable. Football players are usually millionaires, with plenty of money, a good life style and famous all around the world. So what’s going on? For what are they striking? What’s the point?

As I read in the news the main point is because they want to protect players of low categories that gets few money. Honestly, I think this is bull shit!!!

Even if this is true, they still get money to play a game… there are people that after a 12 hours  day work for an entire one month get almost nothing and they can barely survive.

Sometimes it’s hard to see where the truth is, honestly in my opinion the football players are wrong, but I don’t think that they all went out of mind, if they are striking I hope that this one is not the only reason.

It’s funny to see all the comments of people about this argument. It’s funny because they are normal workers and they are seeing their “Sunday stars” striking for something they will never understand (as I do) and never accept.

This is life, this is the world. A lot of strange things happen every day and this one is just something more that doesn’t change a lot the abnormalities of this planet.
